Skills for Chefs 21st Annual Conference
George and Andrew had the pleasure of attending the 21st annual conference for Skills for Chefs on July 4th & 5th, alongside a number of household names like Raymond Blanc of Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons and Lisa Goodwin-Allen of Northcote.

The Skills for Chefs Conference takes place each year in Sheffield and attracts 200 professional chefs from across the UK. The conference creates a platform for learning , skills development and industry networking. In addition , topical and political issues affecting the hospitality industry are spotlighted. The Skills for Chefs conference is organised by University Hospitality Seminars.
The Skills for Chefs Conference also hosts the Grand Final of UK Young Restaurant Team of the Year competition now in its seventh year. The chair of judges is Andrew Bennett MBE. The competition is open to teams of 2 chefs and 1 front of house, 21 years of age or under. The Winners were North Warwickshire and Hinkley College and they embark on a study trip to Colombia later this year.
