Job Description
KAMs are responsible for account managing a set client list in a set geographical area to identify and develop new opportunities in the region. Objectives and targets will be set to allow you to grow your client base and role within the company.
Title: Key Account Manager
Reports to: Craig Lyall, Regional Sales Manager
Geographical Area: Edinburgh, Lothians, Borders and Fife
Key Objectives
Maintain existing account base to maximise customer retention.
Develop existing accounts via additional supplier categories.
Take responsibility for the implementation of new accounts.
Identify and convert new business opportunities within the foodservice sector
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and develop customer base.
Find and develop new customer relationships.
Plan and manage personal business portfolio according to an agreed market development strategy.
Communicate, liaise and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable and sustainable business relationships.
Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
Liaise and attend meetings as required to perform duties and aid business development.
Support marketing activities and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities.
Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods
Skills Required
